New Super Telephoto Lens!

Canon 450d attached to a 80mm Refractor Telescope
Since I don't have $2,000 kickin' around to buy a Canon Super Telephoto Lens, I decided to try using my existing Triplet Refractor Telescope as a telephoto lens for my Canon XSi.  I have tested it on a few subjects and so far so good!  It is the equivalence of having a 480mm prime focus lens, what a big upgrade from my usual 200mm.  This is a game-changer, I was able to get decent shots of birds 20-30 feet away.  When I get relatively close to my subject, I can capture frame filling close-ups.
